Who the hell wears a leather jacket and boots in Mumbai's weather? I am not going to waste my time commenting on what she has worn. All I can say that the wearer needs to take a Style 101 course. If some designer/stylist (?) has dressed her then she needs to fire her/him immediately!
To those who are Bollywood virgins or are too embarassed to admit (like me, depending on whom I am talking to....lol!) that they watch Bollywood movies, this is Aishwarya Rai, beauty queen and an Indian actress.

Heh.. It's all about looking good. I have seen ppl wear a leather jacket in Bombay, where it is hardly ever that cool temp wise.
As for Aishwarya she is Bollywood and thats all she is about. I agree though that it is not weather appropriate, but then who cares? :-)

I have seen some people wearing leather skirts or pants in clubs in Bombay as well. Why the hell would one wear something that makes one sweat even more? *shrugs* Each to his own!

Guess what, i just told that to myself when I saw this pic in the papers...and said hell, I;ve seen better dressed gals on the streets of Bandra or NYC...the very fact that she's forcing herself to wear uncomfortable clothes potrays her attitude....

Lol...I agree about seeing better dressed girls in Bandra or NYC. If there were fashion police or a fashion jail then I am sure Ms. Rai would be serving a sentence with dim possibility of parole!
ha ha, good point! I haven't seen any boots in buffalo as yet, and we get our fair share of snow.
Sai, Indians have been wearing polyester stuff since the British days in that hot weather, while British wore our silk and cotton!:D:D

I'm all for boots. Esp. those over jeans but please please find something that's not too garish! don't dress edgy, if you aren't the type.

I love boots too! Skinny jeans and boots is in. Infact I am wearing cropped pants and boots to work but its 35F not 90F!
